Frozen cauliflower in air fryer is quick and easy to do. A lovely side dish that is surprisingly tasty and moist. Must try.

One of my favourite things to keep in the freezer is frozen vegetables. When I am in a rush, these really work like a charm.

Try out these frozen vegetables in air fryer, air fryer veggie tots, frozen fries air fryer,  frozen hash browns, frozen tater tots and frozen pizza rolls.

The best part about using frozen cauliflower is that you don’t need to thaw it. In under 15 minutes you have a lovely side ready.

I once ate the entire portion, it was so good.

Just spray some oil and toss in your favourite spices and you are good to go.

You may enjoy making buffalo cauliflower in air fryer, cauliflower steaks in air fryer, and whole cauliflower in air fryer.

    Ingredients

Frozen cauliflower: I used a 1 lb. or 450 gm. pack of frozen cauliflower florets. They are pre cleaned, washed and frozen.

Olive oil: Use olive oil spray or brush on a little

Seasonings: I have used onion flakes, garlic powder, pepper, salt and paprika here.

Ingredients for making frozen air fryer cauliflower: frozen cauliflower, olive oil and seasonings.

    Variations

This is a vegan recipe that is gluten free. In case you like cheese, you can add some grated cheese (plant based or dairy) on the cauliflower towards the end.

You like more heat, you can add some chilli flakes to the seasoning.

You can use your favourite spice mixes for seasoning too like Old Bay, Cajun, Peri peri seasoning etc.

    Serving Suggestions

Side: These air fried frozen cauliflower are a perfect vegetable side to any meal.

Cauliflower rice: You could pulse the air fried cauliflower florets in your blender. Then serve them as cauliflower rice with your meal.

Bowl: These roasted cauliflower will go well in bowls or in salads

Snack: These work as a nice low carb snack. Serve with a dip of choice.

    Tips

    1. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Place frozen cauliflower florets in a single layer.

    2. You can spray air fryer basket and frozen cauliflower with oil. Then apply the seasoning mix.

    3. Shake the basket midway for even cooking.

    4. Avoid using parchment paper as direct air flow gives crisper results.

    5. You can use any combination of spices that you like for your cauliflower florets. Even plain salt tastes good.

    Instructions

Take a bag of 1 lb.  or about 450 gm. of frozen cauliflower.

There is no need to thaw. In fact, frozen cauliflower really gives good results on air frying.

Spray/Brush oil on frozen cauliflower and then toss the seasonings to coat.

Spray the air fryer basket. Lay seasoned frozen cauliflower in the basket.

Air fry for 10-14 minutes at 390F or 200C till the cauliflower florets are golden brown or crispy.

There is no need to preheat air fryer here. If you preheated the air fryer, then air frying time will reduce.

Midway, flip the florets so that they cook evenly on both sides. Do keep an eye on the florets after 10 minutes.

We don't want them getting black.

You will see that your cauliflower florets have cooked well. They even stay moist inside.

Take it out and serve hot. If like me you like lemon juice then you can sprinkle some on top and serve.

Enjoy your frozen cauliflower done to perfection in air fryer.
