2. Information you give us

5. Who receives your information
- Advertising - Raptive: CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive ("Raptive") is a service provider of this Site for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site, and Raptive will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes. To learn more about Raptive's data usage, see Raptive's Creator Advertising Privacy Statement. Raptive works with advertising partners, who may also collect data through the Site. Raptive provides a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page; selecting it restricts the use of your data for personalised advertising by Raptive and its partners. Raptive's advertising systems also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): reports on how visitors use the Site using cookies and similar identifiers, and receives your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and links clicked. See Google's Privacy Policy, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Flodesk: stores newsletter subscribers' names and email addresses. Our newsletters contain tracking pixels that show whether and when an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can make future emails more useful. See Flodesk's privacy policy.
- Slickstream (provided through Raptive): powers on-site search, recipe favourites and related-content features. It stores a reader identifier in your browser so your saved favourites persist between visits. See Slickstream's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: provides security and performance services for the Site, including protection against bots and attacks. It processes your IP address and may set cookies for bot protection. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Amazon Associates and other affiliate programmes: when you click an affiliate link, a cookie is placed in your browser to track purchases so we can earn a commission.
- Embedded content: YouTube (Google), Instagram and Facebook (Meta) and Pinterest may set cookies and collect data when you view or interact with their embedded content, under their own policies.
- Hosting and site services: our web host and WordPress plugins, which process data only to run and secure the Site.
- Legal reasons: where required by law, or to protect our rights or others' safety.
We do not sell your name or email address. Sharing browsing data with advertising partners may count as a "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws; see Section 7.
6. Notice, consent and opting out
The technologies described in Section 3 start collecting information when a page loads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and other places where the law requires consent first, non-essential advertising and analytics cookies are used only after you agree through the consent banner shown there.
Visitors in the United States, including Florida: the advertising and analytics tools described above load by default when you visit, and collect the information described in Section 3 as you browse. By using the Site after being shown this policy, you agree to that collection by us and our partners. You can opt out at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer of every page, which restricts personalised advertising and related data use by our advertising partner and stops Google Analytics on the Site. If you do not agree, please opt out or do not use the Site.
You can also block cookies in your browser settings or email us. Opting out does not affect collection that happened before.
7. Your choices and rights
Everyone:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (the Site may work less well).
- Opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.

Some of these laws apply only to businesses above certain size or revenue thresholds, and we may not be subject to all of them. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer; Raptive also treats a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out for the browser that sends it.
