These roasted crispy baby potatoes in air fryer is a super easy recipe. They are incredibly flavorful and make for a perfect side. Works well for breakfast or meals.

Potatoes are perhaps my favorite comfort foods. Doing them in air fryer is much faster than oven and quick too.

You have to try these sinful smashed potatoes in air fryer, air fryer baked potatoes, air fryer baked sweet potatoes, air fryer tater tots, air fryer hash browns, air fryer french fries and air fryer sweet potato fries.

You can also try these delicious parmesan crusted potatoes. No need to peel as the peel gets super crispy with fluffy potato inside. If you are looking for more convenience try these air fryer canned potatoes.

    Ingredients

Potatoes: I have used baby potatoes with skin for this recipe.

Seasoning: I have used garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika and oregano here.

Olive oil: Extra virgin olive oil is used in this recipe.

Lemon juice: Provides a tangy taste to this delicious recipe.

Fresh herbs: I have used chopped cilantro here but chopped parsley, fresh rosemary and thyme work great as garnishes.

Cut them into halves. Mix together all the spices of the spice mix and keep aside. Toss in olive oil so that they are well coated.

Add lemon juice. Now sprinkle the spice mix so that each baby potato is well coated. Keep aside.

Brush or spray the air fryer basket. Put in the entire batch of baby potatoes in a single layer and spread them out.

Air fry at 200C or 390F for about 13-15 minutes till the potatoes are crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside. You can pick one out and check. Shake the basket once or twice during the cooking time.

Your crispy air fryer mini potatoes or baby potatoes done in air fryer are ready to serve. Garnish with fresh herbs. Enjoy.

    Expert Tips

    1. Leave the skin on as it gets deliciously crisp.

    2. Wash and dry the potatoes well. This helps the oil and spices in adhering well.

    3. You can choose a combination of potatoes or just yukons or red potatoes.

    4. Use similar sized potatoes. I cut them in halves but you can leave them whole as well (will take more time). You can also quarter them if you so wish.

    5. Use a nice spice mix to liven up their delicious roasted flavor. Any spices that you like work. I have used lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

I tried this recipe and it took 2 hours to make in my new air fryer at 400 degrees. What am I doing wrong?

Something is not right. Is your air fryer heating properly? Maybe, get it checked out?
