This banana avocado smoothie is super delicious and is done in just 5 minutes. It is a perfect pick me up when you are feeling hungry.
You can make it and keep in the fridge or have it as a quick breakfast as it is pretty filling.
Throw these 4-5 ingredients together in a mixer and voila your avocado banana smoothie bursting with good nutrition, good fat and protein is ready.
You may also like: healthy pumpkin spice latte, lemongrass tea, ragi malt, spiced buttermilk.
Ingredients
Avocado and Banana: I use flesh of one avocado and 1 ripe banana here.
Milk: 1 cup milk or plant-based milk like soy or almond milk is used here. You can use yogurt too.
Protein powder: I use vanilla flavored whey protein or pea protein here to amp up the protein here.
Sweetener: Use sugar, maple syrup or brown sugar here to taste.
Instructions
This is a 5-minute recipe truly. Perfect for breakfast on those days when you really are rushing out.
You can coarsely chop the avocado and banana and put in a blender. Add the milk you are using with protein powder, sweetener of choice and blend.
You can use a handful of nuts too if you like.
Blend well to make your smoothie. Take out and have. This makes about 2 glasses of smoothie.
Enjoy for breakfast, as after-workout smoothie or a quick snack. It is high protein and has good fats.

Avocado Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup milk or yogurt or soy milk for vegan
- 1 tbsp. sugar or maple syrup
- 1 scoop whey protein powder or pea protein
Instructions
- Take all the ingredients together in a blender jar.
- Blend till smooth.
- If needed thin it down with a little water.
Notes
- You can use Greek yoghurt too or vanilla flavoured Greek yoghurt.
- This recipe gives you 2 glasses of smoothie.
- If you don't have banana, you can make the smoothie just with milk, avocado and sugar/honey.

Your simple banana and avocado smoothie is ready. This power packed smoothie is really good for you and tasty too. My kids love it. Try giving it to them in place of their evening glass of milk.
