Tips to make the Perfect Sweet Potato Slices in Air fryer

    1. Any sweet potato work even those that are not the best looking

    2. Use seasonings of your choice and vary them.

    3. Use extra virgin olive oil to toss them. In case you want zero-oil version, skip the oil and use water, aquafaba or veg broth to toss the seasonings in.

    4. Cut the slices of equal width so that they cook evenly together.

    5. Remember to shake the basket once or twice during the cooking time. This dislodges slices that may stick together and also facilitate even cooking.

    6. You can do a batch of upto 500 gm. or 1 lb. at one go.

    7. You can do the recipe with cubes as well.

    FAQ

    1. Can you air fry slices?

You can easily air fry thin slices of potatoes, sweet potatoes and veggies to make chips or crisps. Air fry medium slices for a side or to serve on top of casseroles.

    2. Do you have to soak sweet potatoes in water before air frying?

You don't need to soak sweet potatoes in water before air frying as they are not very high in starch.

    3. How do you slice sweet potatoes?

Peel the skin and snip off the ends of the sweet potato. Then cut into ½ inch slices for medium slices. I generally go with eyeballing it.
