These air fryer potato cubes are super easy to make and so delicious. Perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside.

They are just what you need on your breakfast plate. Honestly, I love potatoes.

Did you know that they only become unhealthy when you deep fry them. In this recipe, you just need a little oil, and yet they taste just perfect.

I love cooking with potatoes. These hasselback potatoes in air fryer, air fryer tater tots, air fryer hash browns, air fryer french fries are the absolute bomb.

You can also try baked potatoes, smashed potatoes in air fryer, air fryer baked potatoes and baby potatoes.

The recipe is super easy and you can vary the seasonings as per your choice.

I love the bright spot of colour that turmeric brings but feel free to skip it if you want.

Tips to Cook the Perfect Cubed Potatoes

    1. Cut the potatoes into even-sized cubes. You can peel them or leave the peel on as per your taste.

    2. If you have the time, soak the cut potatoes for 15 minutes in water. This helps in giving you crisper potatoes.

But if you don’t have time, cook them right away.

    3. Use any seasoning of choice.

Generally I use,1 tsp. Garlic powder, ½ tsp. Italian seasoning, ½ tsp. Pepper, ½ tsp. Paprika and salt to taste works really well every single time.

    4. You can use lemon juice to dissolve the spice and toss the potatoes in them if you want a zero-oil version. Yukon gold work well as well as most other potatoes.

    5. Season the potatoes just before you are putting them in for air frying.

If you keep them for some time with seasoning then they start releasing moisture and do not crisp up well.

Cut 1 lb. Potatoes into same-sized cubes. You can leave the peel on or off as per your choice. Dry them. Assemble the spices and oil.

Air fry at 200C or 390F for about 12-15 minutes till they are crispy outside and fluffy inside.

Shake the basket once every few minutes for even cooking.

I pick out one piece and check it for doneness.

I use one tablespoon Italian dressing along with the other spices. I put all of the ingredients in a large freezer bag and shake and the potatoes get coated in no time before putting in the air fryer.

½ tsp. paprika or cayenne are going to give you very different results I imagine... That's a lot of heat in the form on cayenne....

You are right. I like the heat so use cayenne. But, a lot of my readers just want the colour, hence I have suggested paprika in the recipe.
