These air fryer scrambled eggs are keto and low carb, an easy way to make your favorite breakfast. So delicious and evenly cooked. I just love them.
Eggs are my favourite to cook in the air fryer. Who would have thought? 🙂
After a few trials and errors, I get perfect boiled eggs in air fryer and poached eggs too in air fryer.
If you enjoy, you can try air fryer omelette, air fryer frittata, air fryer egg bites and eggs in a basket. I really have you covered here.
Of course, scrambled eggs was super easy recipe to try that I got right in the first instant. I have used a round silicone cake mould here.
But non-stick cake pans, aluminium or steel cake pans safe for use in oven work just as well.
You can easily double this recipe or if your air fryer is big enough, even make 6 eggs at one go.
You will have to adjust the cooking time for the larger batch but otherwise there won’t be much of a hassle.
Ingredients
Eggs: I have used room temperature large eggs here.
If you use them from the fridge, it may take a minute more of air frying time.
Seasoning: I have used only salt and pepper to flavour my scrambled eggs.
Butter: Butter is so tasty in scrambled eggs. If you don’t eat dairy, you can use vegan butter or even olive oil.
Variations
This recipe of keto scrambled eggs in air fryer is super versatile.
Non Dairy: You can use vegan butter in place of butter in the recipe in case you don’t have dairy.
Cheesy: Add a couple of tbsp. of grated cheese like cheddar or parmesan in your eggs while whisking them.
Adding 2 tbsp. or milk or cream to your eggs makes them fluffy and delightful.
Spicy: If like me you love your spice, you can add some finely chopped chilli or chilli flakes to the eggs.
You could also add a splash of hot sauce to your eggs while whisking them.
Veggie: I often love adding finely chopped peppers, mushrooms and onions to make my scrambled eggs more substantial.
Herby: For a lovely touch of green and added flavour, you can use chopped herbs like parsley, cilantro or basil to your eggy mixture.
Meaty: If you like bacon or sausages, feel free to add cooked bacon or sausage crumbled to your scrambled eggs.
