These gorgeously roasted air fryer radishes are a delightful vegetable side. You can substitute potatoes for a low carb option or just enjoy the vegetable as I like to do. Really good.
Radishes when roasted have a sweet taste with a light bite to them which I personally really like. As good as they are in salads, they are even better when roasted.
I have used basic spices here and they taste delicious in this recipe.

Tips to Make the Perfect Air fryer Radishes
- Cut radishes into same sizes. I normally halve the regular ones and quarter the larger ones. Keeping them of the same size helps in cooking them uniformly.
- Just a basic spice rub works well along with some olive oil. You can skip oil and just manage without it. Lemon juice and a little water will help the spices to adhere to the radishes.
- You can add some grated cheese for more crunch and flavour.
- You can also add some cornflour in case you want crunchy bits on your radishes.
- This recipe is vegan as is and is also gluten free.
- Shake the basket during cooking time to ensure even cooking.
Variations:

You can peel them if you like but you don’t really need to. Cut them into bite sized uniform pieces.
Mix together the spices in lemon juice and olive oil.

Air frying
Add the marinated radishes to your air fryer basket.
Air fry at 390F or 200C for about 12-14 minutes.
Do shake the basket once or twice during air frying.
Check for doneness. The radishes should get nicely roasted with crispy brown edges and must be cooked through.
It will depend upon the size of the radish pieces.

FAQs
Radishes lose their sharp taste on roasting. They taste sweeter and a bit like potato with crunchy outside. Definitely a good low carb substitute for potato.
