Potato Wedges done in air fryer are so crispy and delicious. A great side or snack at parties or get togethers. Uses barely any oil.

Potatoes are delicious and if cooked right, they are not unhealthy for you. That said, I avoid deep frying them at all cost.

Air fryer potato wedges are just perfect. Just like smashed potatoes in air fryer, air fryer baby potatoes, air fryer breakfast potatoes and air fryer Hasselback potatoes.

These baked potato, French fries and air fryer potato skins are delicious too.

Tips to Make the Perfect Potato Wedges in Air fryer

    1. Leave the skin on as it makes the wedges crispy.

    2. Cut the potato into equal sized wedges.

    3. Dip in ice cold water for 20 minutes. This helps in removing excess starch which make the wedges very crispy.

    4. Dry, toss with oil and seasonings and air fry right away.

    5. In case, you want to store them, you can do large batches and store covered. Before serving, crisp them up in air fryer.

    FAQ

Potatoes are very starchy which prevents them from getting very crispy. Soaking them helps take away most of the starch and gets you crispy potatoes.

    2. Why are my wedges not crispy?

Make sure your potatoes are very dry when you are cooking them. Also keep enough space between the wedges and shake the basket during air frying to help cook them evenly.
