Fried Eggs in Air fryer are delightfully easy and so very tasty. This is a game changer for breakfast. It is a fuss free recipe. So easy that even newbies will find it so easy to do.

I absolutely love doing eggs in the air fryer. Eggs are my favourite breakfast and I have them most days in the week. These are also called air fryer sunny side up eggs.

You may love these poached eggs in air fryer, boiled eggs in air fryer, air fryer egg bites and air fryer omelette. Love this air fryer avocado egg too.

You will also enjoy scrambled eggs, air fryer frittata and air fryer egg toast.

Delicious fried egg with salt and pepper on a white plate.

    Ingredients

    1. Eggs: I have done 3 eggs at one go. You can also do 2 eggs at a time.

    2. Oil – Just needed for greasing the silicone molds.

    3. Salt and pepper – to taste

    4. Optional: herbs, cheese, or hot sauce for extra flavor

Eggs, salt and pepper and olive oil as ingredients.

    Variations and Substitutions

If you love your fried eggs cheesy, just top the cracked egg with some cheese.

Add some finely finely chopped chives, basil or cilantro to your fried egg.

You can add a pinch of chilli flakes to your fried egg for some heat.

    Serving Suggestions

Avocado Toast: Place your fried eggs on a slice of toasted bread with mashed avocado.

Toast: Serve with a slice of buttered toast.

Wrap: Serve fried eggs in a tortilla with some salad and sauces.

Bacon and Eggs: Pair your air fryer fried eggs with crispy bacon for a classic breakfast.

One fried egg with oozing yolk on a white plate.

    Instructions

This recipe is really easy. I use eggs at room temperature.

If they are from the fridge then they will take about 30 seconds to 1 minute more of air frying time.

Take silicone molds and lightly brush them with oil.

    3 silicone molds oiled

Break an egg into each mold.

You can spray some oil on top. I did not.

Cracked egg inside an oiled silicone mold.

Now place as many molds as will fit into the air fryer basket. This is in the large XL air fryer.

This time I have not preheated the air fryer.

3 cracked eggs in oiled silicone molds placed in air fryer basket.

In my smaller Philips Air fryer, I could fit 2 egg moulds at one go.

2 silicone egg cups with 2 broken eggs in air fryer basket.

Close air fryer basket and air fry at 360F or 180C for about 4 minutes.

Your eggs will be perfectly fried with well cooked white and slightly runny yolk.

3 fried eggs in silicone molds after air frying.

Then, these are the ones done in Philips air fryer.

2 silicone cups with fried eggs in Philips air fryer basket.

Take the silicone molds out and quickly slide out the fried eggs with a spatula.

1 silicone cup with fried egg topped with salt and pepper

Top with salt and pepper. Serve your fried eggs with toast or bacon or any way that you like.

These air fryer fried eggs have slightly crispy edges and are perfectly cooked.

    Expert Tips

    1. There is no need to preheat the air fryer.

    2. Depending upon the size of your eggs, your eggs will be done in 3-5 minutes. Do keep an eye on the eggs after 3 minutes of cooking time.

    3. Any subsequent batches will be done even faster.

    4. After taking out the air fryer basket, immediately take out the molds as the eggs continue cooking in them if not removed immediately.

    5. If you want your yolks to be more set, you can cook for 1 minute more.

    6. Top with any toppings of choice and serve hot.

    7. These fried eggs cannot be stored and must be consumed right away. If reheated, they will overcook.

    8. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.

    9. You can also use ramekins for this recipe. The air frying time remains the same.
