These air fryer jalapeno poppers are an addictively delicious appetizer. Cheesy and gorgeous, these are low carb and keto friendly.

I love spice and jalapenos are a favorite of mine. This easy jalapeno poppers recipe takes no time in coming together and needs just basic ingredients. It is the perfect game day or party snack.

My teen absolutely relished these and asked for more. 🙂

Tips to Make the Best Air fryer Jalapeno Poppers

    1. Choose fresh jalapenos and take out all veins and seeds carefully. If anything is left behind, it is super hot so be mindful. Also this does not relate to the recipe but wear gloves or your hands burn for hours.

    2. Use a combination of cream cheese and grated cheese. I also have used garlic mayo in place of cream cheese and it tastes heavenly. You can try smoked cream cheese too.

    3. For a healthier version, use thick Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt in place of cream cheese.

    4. Use any spices of choice though minced garlic/garlic powder and pepper are good enough by themselves too.

    Variations:

    1. For a dairy free version, use vegan cream cheese in place of cream cheese and vegan cheese in place of regular cheese in the recipe.

    2. For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt in place of cream cheese in the recipe.

    3. For a more indulgent version, use bacon and wrap around each jalapeno popper before air frying.

    4. I have used Italian seasoning, pepper, minced garlic and salt here. But feel free to vary the spices as per your liking.

    5. For a crunchy top, you can use ½ cup seasoned Panko and sprinkle on top before air frying.
