Crispy air fryer frozen okra is one of those easy sides I make all the time, especially on days when I don't want to chop or prep anything.
You pull the bag straight from the freezer, toss it with a few simple seasonings, and the air fryer does the rest. The okra comes out lightly crisp on the outside, soft inside and without any of the sliminess that usually scares people away from cooking it.
I love serving it as a side or as a quick nibble. It is also a great option when you want a vegetable dish but don't have fresh produce at home.

Frozen okra works surprisingly well in the air fryer crisping up nicely and picks up seasoning beautifully.
If you enjoy easy vegetable sides, you might also like air fryer zucchini, sweet potato cubes, air fryer okra from fresh, air fryer spaghetti squash and brussels sprouts.
Ingredient Breakdown
Frozen Okra: I used one 12 oz. Bag of frozen okra
Olive Oil: It helps the spices to adhere and gives a lovely golden colour to the okra.
Seasonings: I have used garlic powder, onion powder, paprika or red chilli powder and salt as seasoning for the okra.

Instructions
Cut the pack and take frozen okra in a bowl. Assemble seasonings and mix them together. I have used salt, garlic powder, onion powder and red chilli powder here.

Drizzle the olive oil over the okra and toss well. Sprinkle the seasonings and toss again to mix everything. Let the frozen okra slices be coated evenly.
Preheat air fryer to 400F or 200 C for 3 minutes.
Spread the seasoned okra in the basket in a single layer. Upto 16 oz. Or 450 gm. Okra fits easily in my 5-Quart or 4.7 litre Cosori air fryer.

Air fry for 15 minutes. Shake the basket once every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking. Okra gets nice and golden with crispy edges. It is cooked through inside.

If not yet crispy to your liking, you can air fry for a couple of minutes more. That's it. Your tasty crispy frozen okra done in air fryer is easy.

Serve hot as a snack or side dish. It tastes so delicious. You will be making this simple side often.
