Crispy air fryer brussels sprouts from frozen are one of those easy vegetable sides I lean on when I don't feel like washing, trimming, or slicing anything.
You grab the bag straight from the freezer, toss the sprouts with a little oil and seasoning, and let the air fryer do the work. They come out golden with crisp almost charred edges and tender centers.
A simple yet delicious side. These frozen brussels sprouts work surprisingly well in the air fryer and soak up seasoning beautifully once the moisture cooks off.

Ingredients
Frozen brussels sprouts: No need to thaw them. Cooking straight from frozen helps them crisp up pretty well.
Olive oil: Just enough to coat the sprouts. This helps them brown and keeps them from drying out.
Seasoning: I add pepper and garlic powder along with salt here. You can always add more seasonings after cooking.
Balsamic vinegar: I love the slightly tart taste that balsamic vinegar lends to sprouts.
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 400F or 200C for 4 minutes. Preheating matters here, so don't skip it.

Add the frozen brussels sprouts to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder along with balsamic vinegar. Toss again.
Spread the brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. One 12 oz. or 350 gm. bag fits easily in medium-sized air fryer like my 4-Quart Cosori.

Air fry for 18-20 minutes till the sprouts get that delicious crisp colour on the outside. Shake the basket once or twice during air frying.
Check for doneness. The sprouts should be browned on the outside and tender when pierced with a fork.

If you like them extra crispy, cook for another 2 to 4 minutes. Finish with added seasoning like nutritional yeast or chilli flakes if you so desire.

Your easy and delicious side dish is done. Enjoy your crispy air fryer brussels sprouts.
Expert Tips
1. Don't thaw the brussels sprouts. They crisp up much better when cooked straight from frozen.
2. Always preheat the air fryer. Starting with a hot basket helps evaporate moisture quickly.
3. Shake the basket instead of stirring. This keeps the sprouts intact and helps them brown evenly.
4. Whole sprouts are fine. There is no need to try to halve them.
5. Add nutritional yeast after air frying for a cheesy, nutty flavour.
6. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer until hot and slightly crisp again before serving.
