Balsamic vinegar: I used 2 tbsp. for a nice tangy and deep taste.
Salt and pepper: Use half tsp. Salt and a tsp. of pepper
Garlic powder: I add 1 tsp. Because I love the garlic flavour
Chilli flakes: Use 1 tsp. for heat. This is optional.
Instructions
This recipe is really very simple and comes together in no time.
All you need is to trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts. Cut them in halves or quarters (if they are large).
In a bowl toss Brussels sprouts with garlic powder, salt, pepper, olive oil and Balsamic vinegar till they are evenly coated. Make sure that the spices are evenly distributed all over.
Preheat air fryer at 360F or 180C for 3 minutes. Lay the marinated Brussels sprouts in air fryer basket so that they are in one layer. There should not be too much overlap.
Air fry at 360F or 180C for 15-18 minutes till they are nicely roasted and browned. Make sure to shake the basket once or twice in the cooking time so that they cook evenly.
That’s it. Your air fryer roasted Brussels sprouts with Balsamic vinegar are done. Enjoy.
Expert Tips
1. Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer to ensure they crisp up evenly. For a smaller air fryer, cook in batches.
2. This is a vegan recipe. You can modify the seasonings as per your like. Add cayenne or chili flakes for heat.
3. Keep an eye on the Brussels sprouts so that they brown but do not get burnt. Roasting makes them taste really delicious.
4. You can use frozen Brussels sprouts in this recipe. They will need more time and may not get as crispy as fresh ones.
5. Storage Tips: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the air fryer at 360F or 180C for 3-4 minutes to heat through and make them crispy again before serving.
