Apple crisp is a delicious dessert that is perfect for Fall. This air fryer apple crisp is all things comforting.

A delicious apple filling topped with a tasty crunchy filling. Just writing about it makes my mouth water.

Best of all, I made single servings in ramekins in my air fryer.

If you don’t have ramekins use silicone moulds. They work very well too.

So there you have it, perfect small desserts that you can have any time.

You will also love these air fryer apples, air fryer pears, air fryer peanut butter cookies, homemade granola in air fryer and chocolate peanut butter made using Air fryer.

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

1.Quick and Easy: You can have this easy dessert ready and done in under 30 minutes.

Much faster in air fryer as compared to oven.

    2. Healthier Option: Less oil, less guilt. That's the air fryer way. But, it still tastes so good!

    3. Versatility: Have it as a dessert or a sweet indulgence.

Or have it for breakfast coupled with some yogurt.

single serve apple crisp in air fryer

    Ingredients

    1. Apples: I have used Fuji Apples here. Even Pink lady are lovely.

    2. Sugar: Just a little is needed with the apples for the right sweetness.

    3. Ground Cinnamon & Nutmeg: They go so well with apples for their delicious aroma and taste.

    4. Lemon juice: This prevents the apples from turning black and also adds a zesty flavour.

    Crisp Topping

    1. Rolled Oats: These give the crisp its signature texture.

    2. All-purpose Flour: Helps bind the ingredients. You can use processed flour too.

    3. Brown Sugar: For a lovely caramel taste.

    4. Vegan Butter: I have used unsalted vegan butter here for a buttery taste. You can use regular butter if you eat dairy.

    5. A pinch of salt: To enhance all the flavours.

Ingredients for apple crisp: Apples, vegan butter, cinnamon and nutmeg, brown sugar, sugar, processed flour and oats

    Variations and Substitutions

    1. Swap Apples: This recipe works really well with pears too.

    2. Use oil: Use coconut oil instead of vegan butter. You can also use butter for a dairy option.

    3. Nutty Crunch: Some chopped walnuts, cashews or pistachio enhance the crunch here.

    4. Use maple syrup: In place of sugar or brown sugar, you can use maple syrup or honey (for non vegans).

    Serving Suggestions

    1. With vanilla ice cream: Warm apple crisp with cold ice cream is just so gorgeous.

    A match made in heaven.

    2. With whipped cream: Whipped cream complements this apple crisp beautifully.

    3. Breakfast: Pair it with yogurt (plant-based or dairy) or have it with milk.

    It is delicious.

    4. With Caramel sauce: This is how my son loves it. So decadent.

    4 ramekins with apple crisp

I have done these in ramekins but you can easily replicate the recipe using silicone cupcake or other molds.

Remember to be careful as the ramekins are very hot. So use tongs or mittens while taking them out.
