    Air Fryer Gnocchi

    Gnocchi is delicious as a pasta but it is so yummy as a crispy snack. These air fryer gnocchi are quick and easy to make especially if you use readymade gnocchi.

    Your gnocchi will be crispy outside while being fluffy and well cooked inside. Have a tasty filling snack done in under 15 minutes. And there is no boiling water needed as well. 

    You will also love air fryer butter beans, air fryer peas, air fryer cashews, air fryer onion rings and air fryer potato chips.

    Ingredients

    Gnocchi: I have used packaged gnocchi here. Frozen or homemade work as well.

    Olive oil: I used a little to help the seasonings to adhere.

    Seasonings: Paprika, pepper, garlic powder and salt were the seasonings used to give these gnocchi a delicious flavour.

    Toppings: You can top with cheese or herbs. I have used nutritional yeast for a cheesy taste.

    Instructions

    This is an easy recipe and needs really no prep time at all. Preheat air fryer at 400F or 200C for 5 minutes or as needed for your air fryer model.

    Take gnocchi in a bowl and toss with olive oil and seasonings till they are well coated.

    Do the same with frozen gnocchi. You don’t need to thaw the gnocchi before using. But the air frying time will be more by a few minutes.

    Place seasoned gnocchi in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

    Air fry for 10-12 minutes at 200C or 400F till it is golden and crispy on the outside and cooked inside.

    Shake the basket a couple of times during the cooking cycle. Take it out and serve hot after topping with nutritional yeast. It is so good. Enjoy your air fryer gnocchi as a snack or a side.

    You can use this recipe with homemade gnocchi as well.

    Expert Tips

    1. Do not overcrowd the basket allowing the gnocchi to cook evenly.

    2. You can vary the seasonings as per taste or use any seasoning pre mix too.

    3. Storage: Leftovers can be easily stored for upto 2-3 days in the fridge. Reheat before consuming.

    4. You can pair these with marinara sauce or pesto for a light meal.

    • 1 tbsp. olive oil
    • ½ tsp. garlic powder
    • ½ tsp. pepper
    • ½ tsp. paprika
    • ¼ tsp. salt
    • 2 tsp. nutritional yeast
