    Lentils are a mainstay in my daily food. I absolutely love the variety in lentils and the plethora of dishes one can make with them. From dals to salads, from breakfast pancakes (like dosa, chilla and adai) to snacks, soups and sweets, they are just amazing. Try these delicious lentil recipes.

    Yellow Lentil Dal or Dal Tadka

    A staple in Indian cuisine, this basic toor dal or yellow dal tadka, is a really easy recipe. Serve it with boiled rice, a side vegetable and a salad for a nutritious meal.
