Take chicken wings and dry them well using paper towels.
When they are really dry, they crisp up well.
Season them with some pepper and salt.
Air Fryer Method
Preheat the air fryer to 350F or 175C for 5 minutes .
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket making sure that they don’t overlap.
Air fry at 350F or 175C for about 20-25 minutes till the skin is crispy and they are cooked.
Flip them midway for even cooking.
To make the Gochujang sauce
Add Gochujang paste to soy sauce. Add brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
Mix well till smooth. Add ½ tsp. Pepper and mix again.
Once wings are done, transfer them to a bowl.
Toss them with the prepared Gochujang sauce to coat evenly.
Pop them back into the air fryer for about 4 minutes at 350F or 175C for a nice sticky sauce.
You can also just toss in sauce and serve.
Your Korean Chicken wings are ready to serve. Enjoy.
You can garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives.
Oven Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F or 200C.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread out the wings seasoned with salt and pepper.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes, flipping them midway, till they are golden and crispy.
