Air fryer baked potatoes

Air fryer potatoes are super easy to make in Air fryer. They are healthy, delicious and so versatile. Crispy skin outside and fluffy potato inside is just perfect. Do try.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 potatoes medium
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. pepper crushed
  • Butter or vegan butter to serve or spicy mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the potatoes. Leave the skin on.
  • Now pierce all over with fork or knife. Mix garlic powder and pepper in oil and apply it all over the potatoes.
  • Preheat the Air fryer at 390 F or 200 C for 5 minutes. Brush the basket with oil. Now arrange the potatoes and air fry for about 30 minutes. The skin should become nice and crispy and the potato must get well cooked.
  • I check by piercing with a knife to see that it is cooked all the way through.
  • Take it out and serve with a nice big blob of butter (or vegan butter). You can also serve with spicy mayo which is my favourite.

Notes

1. The time of cooking changes with the size of the potatoes used. For large potatoes, it is about 40 minutes. For small to medium between 20-25 minutes and for medium between 30-35 minutes. 2. Do keep checking every few minutes to see how the potatoes are coming along. 3. You can skip poking the potatoes. It does not make much of a difference. 4. These potatoes taste so fluffy and delicious. The crispy skin is really tasty as well. Enjoy baked potatoes with your favourite salad and protein. 5. The best part is that you can just put them in the Air fryer and then it needs nothing more to be done except occasional monitoring. Really super easy to make. 5. To check for doneness, poke the potato. If it is done, you can poke all the way through.
