Take 2 apples. Cut them in half. Core them and then peel off the skin.
Cut them into small cubes.
Mix them with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, vegan butter and lemon juice.
Spoon the cubed apples into 5 ramekins. This makes 5 small serves.
Each ramekin is of 6 oz. capacity. You can use silicone molds as well.
For topping:
Combine together rolled oats with all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted vegan butter or oil and a pinch of salt.
Mix them well and keep aside.
Air fryer Instructions
Place the ramekins in air fryer basket. Depending upon the size of your air fryer, you may two or more at one go.
I have not preheated the air fryer at this time.
Air fry at 380F or 180C for about 8-10 minutes till apples get cooked but are not totally mushy.
The tops become caramelized.
Check by using a fork.
Now spoon the topping mixture on top of the apples.
Air fry at 380F or 180C for 3-4 minutes till the topping gets crispy and brown sugar has melted and become dark.
Take out the apple crisp and serve hot.
Your delicious single serving apple crisp in air fryer is ready.
I have done these in ramekins but you can easily replicate the recipe using silicone cupcake or other molds.
Remember to be careful as the ramekins are very hot. So use tongs or mittens while taking them out.
