Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Frozen chicken sausage patties

Instructions

  • Take out frozen chicken patties from your fridge.
  • Take out only as many as you need.
  • Reseal the package and keep it back in the freezer.
  • You can fit from 4-6 patties at one go in your air fryer depending upon its model.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer at 325F or 160C for 5 minutes.
  • Since the patties already have oil in them, I don’t spray them.
  • Place frozen chicken patties in air fryer basket making sure they don’t overlap.
  • Air fry for 3-5 minutes at 325F or 160C till they are cooked through and crispy on the outside.
  • Brands like Tyson frozen chicken patties in air fryer take similar time.
  • Check the internal temperature of the patties and make sure it is above 165F or 74C for them to be cooked through.
  • Take them out and serve hot.

Stove Top Instructions

  • Heat a skillet to medium hot.
  • Lightly spray oil and place frozen sausage patties.
  • Cook covered for about 5-6 minutes on low to medium heat.
  • Flip every couple of minutes. Ensure that they don't get scorched.
  • Cook till heated through.
  • You can use a meat thermometer for confirming internal temperature.
  • Take out and serve hot.

Microwave Instructions

  • Place frozen chicken patties in a microwave safe plate.
  • Lightly sprinkle about a tsp. of water.
  • Microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute on high in instalments of 10 seconds till heated through.
  • Serve the patties hot.

Notes

1. Keep adequate space between the patties to ensure that they cook evenly.
2. Use a meat thermometer to check if the patties are cooked through.
3. Use any seasonings and toppings of your choice.
4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
Consume within two days after reheating.
Do not freeze again.
