Break 3 medium eggs in a bowl. If using large eggs, use 2.
Add milk to it along with garlic powder, pepper and salt.
Give it a nice whisk.
You could use cream in place of milk as well.
Take silicone cupcake moulds. Fill them halfway with grated cheese and vegetables and other fillings (chopped ham or bacon if you eat meat) of choice.
Preheat Air fryer at 160C or 320F for 5 minutes.
Place the half filled (with fillings) silicone moulds inside the air fryer basket.
Now pour the egg mix on top to come slightly above the cheese-vegetable mix.
Leave ¼ space on top for the egg to cook and expand.
We add the egg after placing silicone mould in the air fryer basket because these moulds are sort of wobbly and may spill over if moved around a lot.
Close the air fryer basket and air fry at 320F or 160C for 7 minutes.
This time could vary slightly with the type of air fryer model.
Open at around 5 minutes into cooking time and check.
At 7 minutes insert a fork or toothpick and check for doneness. Mine came out clean.
The egg bites were done.
In case they are still not done, air fry for a minute more.
Carefully remove the moulds as they are hot.
Let them cool down for a couple of minutes and then de-mould. The egg bites slide out easily.
Serve them hot. They are so delicious. Make for a perfect breakfast. Do try.
