1. Choose bright green and fresh kale leaves. After washing and drying them well, pick them out so as to leave out the thick spine. Spine is bitter, and for that reason it is best to discard it.
2. I just pluck out the leaves using my fingers.
3. Make sure they are completely dry. This is important for them to be crispy. Lightly spray or brush olive oil on both sides.
4. Sprinkle just a little bit of Himalayan pink salt. Frankly these chips don’t need any other seasoning. But you can try out other seasonings as per taste.
5. When air frying, check after every minute. I keep removing the ones that have crisped up and whose edges start browning. This is to make sure that none of them get browned.
They don’t take too long to crisp up. I took maximum 4-5 minutes.
I did not face any issue of flying kale chips.
5.Take them out and serve them as is. So addictively tasty. The kids just polished off a bowl.
