1. Take ragi or finger millet powder in a bowl. Add water and dissolve till no lumps remain.

2. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil. Add the dissolved ragi in water to this boiling water. Mix well and cook.

3. Mix buttermilk to this cooked ragi mixture to a think consistency. Add salt, chopped onion, cilantro and green chillies.

4. Your delicious ragi malt is ready. You can serve it at room temperature or chilled. Enjoy.
