1.Wash and soak basmati rice in water for about 15 - 30 minutes. In the instant pot, turn on the Saute mode. Add 1 tbsp. ghee and whole spices and fry for 30 seconds

2. Add 1 chopped onion & green chillies. Fry till golden brown. . Now add 1.5 tsp. ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 minutes.

3. Add in the chopped veggies and saute for 2 minutes more while stirring.

4. Add 2.25 cups of water and bring to a rolling boil. .Take soaked and drained rice and add to the boiling water. Add more salt if needed.

5. Set on pressure cooker mode and time for 6 minutes. After it beeps, cool for 4 minutes naturally and  release steam manually.

6. Enjoy your delicious vegetable pulao in instant pot. Serve with yogurt raita.
